These clinics provide an opportunity for all the paperwork to be completed and any tests that are required to be performed prior to your admission to hospital.  They also provide an opportunity for you to meet the staff, have a look around and have any questions answered.  This is particularly important for children to alleviate any anxiety they may feel.
