Complaint Process

How to file a complaint

  • We ask that you first discuss any complaints with the Charge Nurse so that she can address your concerns promptly.
  • A Comment Form is available throughout Aorangi Hospital and also included in your welcome pack.  This can be completed and returned via the Comments Boxes throughout the hospital, by mail, fax or personally delivered.  All comments forms are followed up by management and are part of an auditing system. 

    A guardian or next of kin or other authorised representative may exercise these rights on behalf of a patient who is a minor or is not capable of making decisions.
