Payment Of Account

The method of settling your account should be arranged with the receptionist prior to admission.  Aorangi Hospital will accept payment from all medical insurance companies.  If your hospital account is to be paid by your health insurance company  you will need to confirm this with them before admission and obtain a prior approval letter from them.  Patients who are not covered by health insurance, ACC or public funding will be required to pay on admission, a 50% deposit of the estimated cost of their hospital account.  The balance must be paid on discharge.  Estimates will be provided by Aorangi Hospital on request.

Please note that patients are responsible for the payment of their accounts.  Your surgeon and anaesthetist will send separate accounts.
